Trevayne Campsite and Monkstone Beach

Trevayne Farm is a gorgeous campsite on the Pembrokeshire Coast with easy access to the beautiful Monkstone beach.

Trevayne have pitches for tents, caravans, motor homes and campervans. The facilities are good, with a large toilet / shower block, washing up areas, a shop and a farmers market on particular days.

The walk down to Monkstone beach is a wonderful nature hike in itself, down rooty paths and and steep steps surrounded by ferns and wild flowers. There had been a small landslide before our last visit so the path was officially blocked off, and the very last section has missing steps (though people are still using the path and users of the path have attached ropes to aid sliding down the last portion). As a result of the path being officially blocked, Trevayne campsite could not recommend that people use the path.

Note that the Monkstone field does not allow tents due to licencing, though it does allow awnings for motorhomes, caravans and campervans if they meet the correct definition of an awning.
